Some of the most delicious food I have EVER had. I wish I could snap my fingers and be there instantly to enjoy whenever I want. Small and cozy, has the perfect feel for date night.

Came here since it was close to the hotel and had lots of good reviews. The place is small and we walked right past the front door! Inside is small but cozy. Server spoke English so it was easy to figure out how to order. It does get busy after 7 so go early or make a reservation! I got a glass of red wine (server picked), I got the duck gratin, hot and so delicious. Hubby got a glass of beer and ham gratin! All was excellent. Friendly service and food is amazing!

MAGNIFIQUE! Or, at least I think that's how the French say it- I just got by with "Vous parlais Anglais?" Came here on a local's recommendation that I stopped on the street. He didn't seem too pleased with me, but the Bistro des Augustins' cuisine more than made up for his attitude. Absolutely smashing. They're known for their gratins, which I definitely partook in; the French are praised worldwide for their cooking and this tiny place certainly represented that. When I tell you that the gratin was mouthwateringly delicious, I mean it- try for yourself! Also served with a complimentary basket of freshly baked bread. Service was great, very personable staff that gave excellent recommendations. Seems also that locals frequent it, which is also an excellent sign. Wine is excellent, as expected. The best part? Very inexpensive, especially for what you get. I'd recommend this place 10 times over, don't miss it!

For our last dinner in Paris, we visited Bistro des Augustins near Notre Dame, famed for their gratin dishes. We began with a tasty salmon salad and a glass of white burgundy. For my main course, I had a soul-warming duck gratin. My wife enjoyed her veggie gratin just as much.

An amazing recommendation from a local! I highly recommend the au gratin with duck, its cheese and potatoes coming out so hot. It's super creamy and delicious. We also got a deli meat plate to start which was very good. It takes time to get the au gratin, but it's worth the wait. The space is small, but it's a great stop for lunch!

A quaint place with all the tables packed in next to each other so you can be very intimate with your neighbors. Salmon was very good as well as the goat cheese. Salad was as plain as possible. The gratin dish was very tasty, although the anchovies were a little overpowering

Amazing duck gratin and an even better view of Notre Dame. Great beer wine and champagne selection. Server was perfect in every way, even toasted a glass of champagne since I was sitting alone. One of the best dining experiences of my life.

We came here after the Louvre museum had a bite to eat sat here outside small sidewalk area across from the art vendors an the seine river. Nice place friendly people food was good

Our server happily greeted us and sat us down. She gave a rundown of their most known dishes and recommendations. Food was quite filling. I got gratin du poulet, any dish with gratin is their popular dish. It was quite comforting meal, warm and savory. We were sat outside to people watch as you face the Seine. It's a small restaurant, but that's how you know how special it is.
